Zaza Mokhethi
a
name that is fast approaching the Gospel powerhouse household name in South
Africa. Zaza is a skilled, versatile and an
anointed singer her stage presence is always accompanied by the tangible strong
presence of the Trinity God.
She has performed and her voice has been heard and loved by the music lovers in Netherlands; Paris and London during the “African Mamas” and “Afrika Afrika” international tours. She hails from the east of Gauteng Johannesburg South Africa. Zaza worked with the a number of Gospel legends in the South African Music scene, the likes of Rebeca Malope; Pastor Dick Khoza; Vicky Vilakazi; Keke Phofolo; Solly Mahlangu; Benjamin Dube. She has performed the SA’s most loved hit of all times “Namhla Nkosi” with the renowned gospel group Joyous Celebration; she has been featured on the albums of the RSA gospel legends Benjamin Dube; Solly Mahlangu and Andile Ka Majola.
Zaza is working on her third album, after a successfully debut album launch of her solo career in 2010; her debut album “Umoya Oyingcwele” elevated the gospel music to higher heights and received a Crown Gospel Award nominations for the best song of the year category in 2010, she later released her second album “Thank you” in 2012 which is still on the music charts.
